Getting Notifications By Email
 

Sometimes e-mail programs and web-mail sites incorrectly classify important e-mail messages as spam. Such errors can block vital e-mail from YellowMousepad, for example order-status notices, shipping notices, and billing notices. To serve you better, we have provided instructions on how to prevent these types of e-mail delivery problems before they occur. Please take these quick steps for your e-mail program or web-mail, so that you can safely and confidently receive all of the important information about your purchases at YellowMousepad.

 
 
AOL
AOL version 9.0:

Option 1:
Add our address to your "People I Know" list.

1. Open an email from YellowMousepad  
2. Click the Add Address button (over on the right side).  

Option 2: Send an e-mail to YellowMousepad and we will be added to your "People I Know" list automatically.

1. Open a new email.
 
2. Send to "Free@YellowMousepad.com; Free@YellowMousepad.com"
 
3. In the subject put "White list email.  Please ignore."
 
4. Click Send Now (it's in the top right corner).  


Earlier versions of AOL:


You will need to set your Mail Controls instead.

1. Go to Keyword Mail Controls  
2. Select the screen name that you will use with YellowMousepad  
3. Click Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name  


For AOL version 7.0 In the section for "exclusion and inclusion parameters", include this domain:

Yahoo


Please use a filter to deliver email to your Yahoo Inbox (and not the Bulk Mail folder).

1. Open your Yahoo mailbox

5. In the top row, labeled From header, select "contains" in the pull-down menu. see picture
6. In the text box next to that menu, enter: YellowMousepad see picture
7. At the bottom, where it says Move the message to, select "Inbox" in the pull-down menu. see picture
8. Click the Add Filter button again see picture

1. Log on and click the Mail tab to get into your mailbox

2. When your Address Book opens, click the Add button
 
3. On the Add Contact screen, find the Internet Information box
 
4. Enter Free@YellowMousepad.com into the top Email box
 
5. Click Save

1. Go to your Verizon Inbox.  
2. Click Options.  
3. Select the Block Senders tab (near the top of the screen).  
4. Look at the Block Senders screen  
5. Notice both a "Block Sender List" and a "Safe List"  

6. In the space where it says, "Enter e-mail address or sub domain to always accept even if the domain is blocked", enter the addresses Free@YellowMousepad.com and Free@YellowMousepad.com

1. Open your browser and go to this page: http://webmail.spamcop.net/  
2. Sign into your account  
3. Click on the Options in the toolbar  
4. Under Mail Management (in the middle), click SpamCop Tools  
5. Select Manage your personal whitelist  
6. Find where it says " Click here to add to your whitelist ", and click on " Click here "

Many popular e-mail programs, including older versions of  Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Netscape Mail, do not actually have any Spam protection of their own.  They may however utilize 3rd party programs such as those listed above.
